PATHWAYS TO HOUSING
Pathways is a non-profit organization that houses the chronically homeless with mental disabilities. Together with the team at Sarkissian Mason, we created an entire campaign for them pro-bono, including a new website, a mobile text-activated light installation that accepted donations, and a photo documentary OLV.
Besides helping a good cause, the Light Installation earned a Bronze Pencil at the One Show and earned recognition from NPR, Creativity, The Huffington Post, and The Wooster Collective.
MOBILE TEXT-ACTIVATED LIGHT INSTALLATION
To raise awareness for the site, and the cause, the SM team created an Interactive Light Installation that used a custom-built SMS application which allowed people on the street to engage with "the homeless" via text message, and even send a donation right through their mobile phones.
PHOTO DOCUMENTARY
This Photo Documentary follows the success stories of three of Pathways' members.
PATHWAYS WEBSITE
The website’s goal was to explain their model, allow people to make donations, and encourage other cities to adopt the program.
